this is the corsa project i am doing at the moment,it will be up for sale when finished.right got the floor cut out today and started welding in the gearbox tunnel.

I reckon you might have a job wedging some seats in there, mine barely fit without a tunnel

quick update,put the engine gearbox and back axle in to line them up ready for welding.

Thats going to be evil ,i look forward to seeing this when its finished whats the rear axle from?? out of interest

What gearbox are you using on it?

carlton gearbox on it but theres a few other options.for sale as soon as its finished want one????

Yea allot of the kit car boys use ford gearboxes and just buy a bellhousing from sbd to convert it bloody good thing about the Xe engine.... theres plenty of aftermarket parts available for them

yea i wouldn't mind problem is im bloody skint

took the corsa off the jig today and welded the tunnel underneath then made chassis rails to mount the engine and wishbones.

looking good mate keep up the good work

started mounting the coilovers and front hubs today.

mondeo hubs mate,im experimenting with them because sierra hubs are getting hard to find.

well i was close the the wheel's from a mk4 tho
youve mounted them on the opposite sides to bring the steering joint on the hub to the front havent you?
sierras are that way anyway, but i'm sure the mondys are behind?

good lad not many people would have noticed they are on opposite sides.just experimenting with where to put the steering rack.
put the front wheels on and lowered it to get the engine mounts made up.

have you made the bottom arms up yet, or are you using some from somthing else?? i guess the tie bar setup wont work anymore

front wishbones and gearbox mount fabricated,rear wheel tubs and turrets fabricated rear axle mounted and lowered on to its wheels to check ride height.
