check out what we had in the workshop this week,two old classics in the same week,the first was an austin a35 needing an exhaust manifold and system built.

do you get alot of restoration work in then?

Nice!!,whats is the tr3 in for ? restoration or is it getting prep-ed up for some track use?

Iam more interested in the Mk II Escort in the background grin

Where about are you? if you don't mind me asking,you can pm if you like?

My brother in the process of restoring an Austin similar to the one above,it was supposed to be a quick tidy up but ended up being a full restoration.He's been at it for a few years now and it's nearly ready......until he decides he's not happy with it and starts all over again!.

made this for a car tuning company last month,its an air chamber for a supercarger .they wanted it made out of alloy,handed me six cut pieces of alloy and said they wanted to show off all the welds,so i welded it together and as it was so small it looked stupid with all the weld showing so i ground and smoothed all the weld then polished it.thought i was doing the guy a favor and even gave him it at trade only charged him £60 and hes still not payed,so if any more work comes in from that garage you can guess what they can do with it.
